This Pre-Advanced Japanese II course serves as the continuation of JPN 301. This course covers the first 5 Chapters of Tobira textbook*** and strengthens language learning by using multimedia materials. It also continues to hone accuracy and fluency both in spoken and written communications. In addition to the further development of the four areas of language skills, this course aims at a much higher level of Japanese language proficiency, especially in the area of reading. The ultimate goal of this course is to start becoming an independent learner in order to prepare for the advanced level of Japanese proficiency. After successfully completing this course, students should be able to achieve a level of proficiency Test (JLPT), 3rd degree.
