In this course, the foundation created in JPN 101 will be further solidified with more in depth sentence patterns and a greater emphasis on the four basic areas of language learning. This semester will focus on learning essential grammatical patterns and vocabulary that will help form practical and useful sentences, as well as gradually increase the number of Kanji you can read and write. This course covers from Chapter 5 through Chapter 9 of the Genki Textbook*.
